Cervical Rami Communicantes
Abstract
Communicating branches between the cervical sympathetic trunk and descendens cervicalis are variable. In one study, the following patterns were noted: communicating branches were found (a) between the superior cervical ganglion and descendens cervicalis; (b) joining C2 and C3; and (c) variably joining the connecting loop between C2 and C3.
